Resumen

Green Clouds aim at provising optimized infrastructure that delivery flexibility, quality of services, and reduced energy utilization. To achieve this objective, they must management solutions regulate the internal settings to address the pressing issue of data centre over-provisioning related to the need to match the peak demand. In this context, we propose an integrated solution for resource management based on organisation models of autonomous agents components. These elements view the processing and environmental control elements as service providers (e.g. processing servers, load distribution services, temperature reduction services, etc) and coordinate these elements operations to fulfil the system’s overall objectives (e.g. SLA agreement, maximum energy utilization, contracted carbon emissions, etc). This work introduces the system management model, analyse the system’s behaviour, describe the operation principles, and present an use case scenario.
